Samuel L. Jackson Developing Reality TV Series

Samuel L. Jackson and his wife Latanya Jackson are developing a reality TV series featuring their celebrity friends going back in time to revisit their childhoods.The Pulp Fiction star, his wife, and producer Rushion McDonald are creating an as-yet-untitled show with executives at FremantleMedia North America - the same company responsible for shows such as American Idol and The X Factor.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will "take A-list celebrities back to the house they grew up in, visiting old haunts and meeting familiar faces, to explore how their childhood shaped who they are now."
This will be Jackson´s first foray into the world of unscripted television, and he is looking forward to sharing the stories of stars who have come from all walks of life.
"LaTanya and I often talk about the nostalgia we have for the community in which we were raised, and the opportunity we have to pay it forward," Jackson says in a statement. "Together with Rushion, we decided to empower some of our nearest and dearest celebrity friends to share this journey in their own voice, in their own hometown and to provide children and families with resources and facilities to further build their foundation. This is about connecting with the community where we became the people we are today and sharing that journey with audiences across America."
A release date has yet to be announced.
