I find this weird because before I cut my hair, I had about 4 feet of thick curly, sometimes frizzy, and often times unruly hair. The only people who addressed my hair were African American women, Black women form other countries don't seem to put much attention to other people's hair. Any way, I digressed, the comments I received from African American women were in the form of complements about the length and thickness of my natural hair. I was therefore surprised to hear that Gabby was being harassed about her hair from her fellow country women. The funny thing is that Gabby Douglass hair is probably better laid than mine was on any given day.﻿

Her hair! I don't care! She won gold.﻿

and Philko in America there's also a big issue with dark skin black women vs lighter skin...﻿

I like the fact she is naturally beautiful inside and out! I feel if I was a guy I would like for who she was and her cute hair and whoever is lucky enough to marry her will be one of the luckiest man alive! Gabby brought America home gold because she is gold! I'm proud to have Gabby represent us!﻿
