LeBron James will re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the power forward announced on Thursday in a video for Uninterrupted.

James agreed to a new, three-year $100 million deal, according to ESPN NBA reporter Brian Windhorst. That makes the Akron native the highest paid player in the NBA. His salary for 2017-2018 will be the highest single-season salary in league history, Windhorst reported.

“Just want to let ya’ll know, man, I’m re-signing back with the Cleveland Cavaliers,” James said. “My hometown team. I can’t be more excited. This opportunity to defend our crown.”
