Singer Nicole Scherzinger fears her career has cost her the chance to start a family.
The 38-year-old former Pussycat Dolls star admits she has put romance and motherhood on hold to chase her TV, music and theater dreams.
Nicole, who is back as a judge on British TV talent show The X Factor, tells the Sunday Mirror, "Look at me. I´m not married and I ain´t got no kids yet. Of course work has come at a sacrifice. I´ve missed out on life."
But she´s not complaining and insists her time to settle down and start a family is yet to come.
"I see a vision of what I want as an artist," she explains. "Now I´m going to the top of that mountain. When I get there, then I´ll have time for a family, and kids.
"It´s a sacrifice when you put your heart into a job. Relationships suffer."
Scherzinger had to turn down the chance to reprise her role in Andrew Lloyd Webber´s Cats on Broadway to return to the ITV talent show and her decision initially upset the theater impresario. But she hasn´t given up on her New York stage dream and insists she will one day star on the Great White Way.
She hasn´t given up on love either after ending her seven year romance with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton - she´s currently dating tennis star Grigor Dimitrov, who at 25 is 13 years younger than the singer.
