The Tennessee native and father of well-known rapper Drake is launching his R&B career at more than 60 years of age. Graham — who has become something of a celebrity on Instagram — reportedly reached out to Jamie Lovine, a producer and CRO at Meltdown Comics who previously worked with his son, about making music together. According to TMZ, Lovine was happy to help and got straight to work on Graham’s forthcoming R&B album.
The publication was able to obtain clips from an upcoming music video starring the newcomer, in which he’s shown sporting OVO chains while singing a melodic song about a woman he’s developed an “obsession” for. The video stars an unknown blonde music video vixen. Sources say the song and accompanying music video will be released later this month while Graham and Lovine continue working on a full album.
Drake, 29, is said to be supporting his father’s dreams of becoming a musician, though he has not publicly addressed it. Graham shared a still from his video on Instagram, thanking all who were involved. He did not, however, mention his son.
