Toni Braxton Loses Diamond Engagement Ring

Toni Braxton has lost her diamond engagement ring, after mistakenly leaving her bag on a plane following a recent flight.

The Un-Break My Heart singer traveled from New York´s JFK Airport to Los Angeles´ LAX with Delta Air Lines on Tuesday (20Nov18), and later tweeted that she had accidentally left her Louis Vuitton hand luggage on the aircraft.

After Delta managed to track down the bag, Toni, who is engaged to rapper Birdman, returned to social media to express her delight, before revealing that some of her jewelry - including her stunning engagement ring, reported to be worth around $5 million - was missing from the bag.

"Hey everyone, @delta located my LV Train Case! Yay! Unfortunately most of my jewelry items are missing… including MY ENGAGEMENT RING! Whoever BORROWED it… PLEEEASE return it! I promise, no questions asked!" she tweeted.

Toni later shared a snap of herself wearing the jewel, which she nicknamed Bonnie, on her Instagram page, and wrote: "Feeling back to my old self again, yay! But I’m sad today my engagement ring is missing but I’m optimistic that someone will find Bonnie and return her home!"

According to The Blast, airline bosses have been in touch with Toni and are investigating the ring´s disappearance in the hope they can return it to its rightful owner.
