Beyonce´s Divorced Parents Reunite At Final On The Run Ii Gig

Beyonce´s parents Tina and Mathew Knowles reunited for the final gig on her and husband Jay-Z´s On The Run Ii tour in Seattle, Washington last week (end07Oct18).

The former couple, who finalized their divorce in 2011, were pictured kissing the Formation hitmaker on the cheeks in an image posted to Tina´s Instagram page on Wednesday.

Mathew later told TMZ.com he had surprised his daughter and his ex-wife by turning up with a floral gift backstage at the concert.

"It was a warm, and adoring, positive moment," he said. "I went up to Seattle, it was the last show of the tour and I wanted to surprise her with a dozen lovely red roses."

He went on to explain how Beyonce had hugged him when she saw him backstage, and then insisted on a family photo.

"Beyonce wanted to take a photo of the three of us," he added. "That was important to us, to her, and important to all of us."

According to the gossip site, the trio previously spent time together when the tour stopped in their hometown of Houston, Texas - but decided to keep that family reunion quiet by avoiding social media posts.

Both of Beyonce’s parents have remarried, and Mathew, who launched his daughter´s music career as the manager of her group Destiny´s Child, said that he and his 64-year-old ex remain on good terms despite their split.

"We´ve never been enemies," he explained. "I have always had nothing but positive words for Tina."

The 66-year-old has had an up-and-down relationship with his 37-year-old daughter over the years, as she severed professional ties with him in 2011. According to TMZ, neither she nor her sister Solange were present at his 2013 wedding to Gena Avery.

He said Beyonce was both "happy" and "sad" that the On the Run II tour had come to an end after 48 concerts in Europe and America.
